The Rewiew of Finance is delighted to announce the appointment of Marcin Kacperczyk as Editor for a three-year term starting in January 2020. He replaces Jules van Binsbergen whose term ends in December 2019. Jules has made superb contributions to the RF, not only in handling papers but also providing insights into broader journal strategy, and will continue in a new role of Advisory Editor after he steps down. Marcin has been serving the journal as an Associate Editor since 2016.
We also welcome five new Associate Editors: Anna Cieslak, Nandini Gupta, Mark Leary, Michela Verardo, and Yongxiang Wang. They replace Jonathan Berk, Kai Li, Konstantin Milbradt, and Pietro Veronesi (plus Marcin), whom we thank for their service.
Alex Edmans has accepted a second three-year term as Managing Editor starting in January 2020. Last year, the Editors voted to impose a two-term limit on themselves, and so this will be his final term.
